hey guys. i am new here and thought i would start off by posting a recipe that i just did tonight. i made sweet and sour shrimp over lettuce but for those of you who do carbs, you can use rice or whatever you like.
sweet and sour sauce
1 tsp tomato paste
1-2 tsp splenda
2-3 tsp white vinegar (depending on how thin or thick you want your sauce to be)
juice of half a lemon and a lime
about 1/2 tsp each of onion and garlic powder
1 tsp worchest. sauce
1 tbsp sugar free apricot jam
optional: fresh ginger
i used this as a dressing for the shrimp salad but you could also sautee your shrimp in the sauce and let it absorb the flavors. let me know what you guys think.
