Man up.
Keep lifting and your hands will get used to it. I would say get rid of the gloves and get a real feel for the bar. Your hands will build up calluses as necessary over time.

I didn't take any pre measurements but I probably still could as I'm only up 1lb so far. ha The hypertrophy routine definitely has a different feel and is a lot faster paced but I'm getting used to...
