You're fine. Try to educate yourself and maybe get some good supervision (which can be difficult). Ask question on the forum about anything you are in doubt about, including exercise teqnigue. Have fun, and good luck. Probably the biggest danger is to ineffective type stuff and waste a lot of your time (that's probably what happened to most of us who started young

) so get as much good advice as you can.
Since you are just beginning, you don't need to do a lot of maximal work to gain a lot of strength, at least for a while. So you can take your time and use higher reps until you have everything down and build some strength.
