Whey Protein VS Wight/Gainer

Default Whey Protein VS Wight/Gainer

I´m 43kg with 1.65m. Underweight and body type is Ectomorph.

my nutrition isnt really that good...
this is my plan that i am starting perhaps next week...
breakfast: soya milk, oatmeal & hard boiled egg
snack: sweet potato
lunch: whole meal (rice with tune/chicken breast with salad)
before-workout: protein drink
dinner: whole meal (rice with beef steak and salad)
before bed: milk

I would like to gain weight.

Ran thru some sites and was introduced to Whey Protein (like BSN Syntha-6) & Weight Gainer (BSN True-Mass).

What I have understand is...

1. Weight Gainer consist of both protein & carbs.

2. Protein whey is just protein.

My question is...

should i add weight gainer into my nutrition intake at the same time take protein whey only ¨before workout¨? or should I replace protein whey to weight gainer?

you could start taking weight gainer if you find it hard to consume enough calories by eating whole foods. i prefer to eat rather than drink calories but everyone has their own preferences

Default calories intake through drinking

thanks for your attention.

i really had a problem with calories intake due to low family income.

there´s this 1 product in my neighbourhood that is a protein milk shake, it cost USD10 for 7 servings. it states that it could be a real replacement, as well as to increase protein & calories intake.

i´ve tried it because my friends got it as a gift, when i started consuming it, i´ve noted that it increase my appetite and i tend to get hungry every 3-4 hours.

is this healthy? is this product a typr of weight gainer or protein whey?

hmmm, anyway, through that i´ve gained weight...

Count your calories and get to a point where you know how many calories you need to consume in order to maintain your weight.

Add 500 cals to that and work up from there

Dealing with the cost of supplements and food can be hard at times. Best thing to do is figure out what will cost you less. You can get your macros from such supplements as weight gainers/whey protein, but if possible, whole foods are a much better choice imo.

Regardless, try and boost your caloric intake as much as possible. You're definitely gunna have to eat to grow! Keep at it, with the right motivation and determination, anything is possible.

The Weight gainers don't really work that well as they are the just to show. You should prefer the whey protein gainer they are much better than weight gainer.
