This is exactly how I was able to finally buy my rack.
while trying to bench 325 I asked my wife to spot me, well it got stuck and layed it across my chest, she was freaken out, I was like babe just take the plates off of the ends, well when i was done I was laughing about it.she was not...I explained how if I had a rack that wouldnt happen

I don't need a spotter for benching. Thats why I squat in a rack. It has bars. Doesn't matter how much im benching etc, I need a LITTLE help if I can't push it up to make it 10-20 pounds lighter. I don't need someone to pick the damn thing up for me.

YA, the wife is usually the best spotter. 1# she's always there and 2. Usually all a person needs is that litle extra.
