Bone Head mistake (+ update)
So I was in the gym yesterday, and it was a long day man, I was pretty beat when I got there. So I settled down, got in to the squat rack and went to town. Then I hit flat bench, and busted out my sets. I'm not sure why it didnt hit me earlier, but I am a moron, and I did next weeks workout this week.
Now normally I would be a little worried that it would throw me off in some way. But by the time i looked at my routine, I had blown through my workout, and the wieghts moved very easily. Now its not a huge difference, it was a 10lb jump instead of 5lbs. But just for instance on bench last week i hit 240 for 5 and was pretty much gassed, this week i hit 250 for 5 and I felt like i could have done 5 more.
Perhaps my muscle memory is starting to kick in, or maybe it was the wms i've been sippin on. either way, i havent been sore in a few weeks and things seem to be coming together. Shit even my squat technique feels 100% better. Feeling good about my progression, any thoughts/suggestions on my missed week?

Sounds good man. Really you didn't miss a week you just added 10 lbs instead of 5 (didn't I warn you about those spreadsheets ). Seems like you had a lot left in you so hopefully your progression should continue like before. I would just add 5 lbs next week and continue on. Glad to hear your feeling so good in the gym.
If it has some unforeseen detriment and it doesn't feel right next week just repeat this weeks weight and don't worry about it at all.

If you act sanctimonious I will just list out your logical fallacies until you get pissed off and spew blasphemous remarks.

Ditto, I would just be happy that you were able to bust through the additional weight with no problems. Just go back to the 5 lbs increase as planned and if you have problems just repeat the weights you just did.

I've also done that before. To me, it's like finding a $20 in your pocket you didn't know you had. It's just a good feeling. Keep it up.

I guess I'll give a self serving update here, its been a minute.
Wieghts wise I'm still moving the bar easily, here are the numbers for this past week (last sets only)
squat 235x5
Flat bench 265x5
Incline 225x5
Dead lift 290x5
I tweeked my back a little on deads the other day, I got sloppy on my last rep or two, but I dont see it being a problem. I'm obviously not happy with my numbers yet, but I'm still progressing slowly. Its hard to keep to this 5lbs a week setup, I'm gettin all antsy in the pantsy, I want to do more, but I know I gotta stick to the script.
I ran out of virtago this week, so i've switched up to gaterade powder until I can get some bulk wms. Other then that there isnt much to tell ...
except that I am one of two people i've ever seen in the new gym who actually uses the squat rack for squats. Its kind of depressing, even the big guys in the gym seem to be very weak, which confuses me. I am used to having guys next to me pushing wieghts that I can only dream of, and it kept me motivated ... now people look at me like i'm crazy for DLing 290, kinda akward.
