Yeah, I really meant the whole drill. I already tried the OH squat thing but it's kinda late in the game to be trying it since I can already rep out with my "dowel". PR woohoo

But one of my problems has always been getting the hips to open up so thats a good thing.
I did try something like that way back when for OH squats in a short lived attempt to get them down and it didn't work so well. BUT, and this is a big but, I was using a training bar instead of a light wooden dowel.
