Yep...Dave and me are on the same page. Although I obviously haven't studied it like Dave, Crossfit is best used for ideas and information but then arranged to fit into your needs. And as he pointed out, some of the crossfit centers don't really follow the hardline bs of Greg Glassman. It's a "brand".

Oh, and btw, I was in not way trying to imply that crossfit came up with all the exercises. Glassman was a gymnast and that's the root of most of the gymnastic stuff, plus they have their own modified "versions" of some exercises, some of which are good and some of which are ludicrous. It's a grab bag..but everything is like that. LOL, kind of fits in with my whole message of late..you gotta look around and take the good you can get from wherever you can get it. You don't have to be a disciple.

If you act sanctimonious I will just list out your logical fallacies until you get pissed off and spew blasphemous remarks.

my mma school doesn't really. They do their own WOD that is mostly timed rounds that involve explosive movements.

It is definitely a grab bag. only a couple "workouts" make sense and I wonder sometimes if it was on purpose or it just coincidence.
