How much can I bench?
I know this is a worn out question but I am curious. I work out at a gym that has a smith machine and hammer strength bench but no benches. I only use DUMBBELLS for my chest workout. My workout weight is this: for the flat bench I go 4x15 with 65 pounds. For shoulder presses I go 4x15 with 40 pounds.

there is no way possible for someone to measure how much you can bench by you telling us that. we dont even know if the workout you told us about is even strenious.
go to a gym where you can just pay to get in for one time see if someone would spot you and then find out

Lets see if I can figure this out
(6 + √10)
(18 - √90) =
(108-√3240 + √3240 - √900)/ d.b. press
y3 - by2 + cy - d = 0, put y = x + b/3 to get
x3 + mx = n where m = c - b2/3, n = d - bc/3 + 2b3/27. (hammer)
-x4 + 2px2 + p2 = px2 - qx - r + p2
i.e.
(x2 + p)2 = px2 - qx - r + p2 (gym with no real equipment)
x3 + 3b2x = 2c3
Put x = (e2 - b2)/e. Then
e6 - 2c3e3 = b6
which is a quadratic in e3, and so can be solved for e3 to get
e3 = c3 +√(b6 + c6).
However
e3(e3 - 2c3) = b6 so that b6/e3 = -c3 +√(b6 + c6).
Got it.

How much can I bench?
Thank you for your replies. I was looking for someone who had lifted the same weight and what their bench was. I know its over 200 pounds, but I do not know by how much. I don't have the time to go to another gym. I work at this gym and that takes up most of my lifting time. The 4x15@65 pounds is a hard workout for me. I liked your reply joker13.

You would have to find someone that only did DB bench that had maxed at BB bench recently.

I dont think its that straight forward. When I change my workouts around it takes me a couple of trys to get used to the movement. When I switched from DB Declines to BB Declines I had to start pretty light. Weights obviously did go up quick but that was after training.
Sorry, I cant answer your question.

See if a buddy has a weight set, or see if someone w/ a gym membership can get you in as a guest for a workout. Otherwise, I don't know.

One of my friends only does dumbbell presses. He is a nut though. He has been stuck at the 125's for DB bench for a few months because the next jump up is the 150's. And he only weighs about 165lbs. I think it's kind funny...he should just do BB bench. Unlike the OP, he actually has the option to.
