Hell yes!

Look at world soccer players. They have the biggest calves in the world. Why is that? Because they continually pummel their calves with high repetitions every day. In the beginning of Arnold's career he used to stand in knee deep water when posing because he was embarrassed about his girly calves. It wasn't until he started slamming them with a thousand reps every other day before they started looking like dinner rolls. Good examples of why it's highly recommended to do so.
