Using ice is probably your best option. When using remember to only ice for 15min or less. Let the skin warm back up completely before applying again. Using it longer than 15min can cause the vessels to open instead of constricting and the results will not be as good. I would keep movement in the arm with out resistance. Remember everybody heals differently so take your time and heal. Try not to rush things. I had to learn that the hard way.
