Sounds good enough. There are plenty of programs out there. Just make sure you fully understand the program before you start it. If after reading, you don't have any questions about the program, then you probably don't understand it well or haven't put enough thought into it. I may be wrong, but that's typically what happens.

Rippetoe's Starting Strength is a good one...you might want to start there.
