If you want to reach your goal, pick fat loss OR muscle gain. If you pick both, you'll be sorely dissapointed.

Probably because one (fat loss or muscle gain) at a time is a lot easier to plan and see results with. Ironworker, it is possible to do both IF you have the patience to take your time and not get frustrated with small, yet incremental, gains.
