Some soreness is normal when first starting back into a workout or changing exercises etc. Extreme pain is not normal and one should consult a physician if it persists.

soreness is normal at the begining. you should start with low weights and do more reps so your muscles should used to it then consult ur gym teacher and start adding weight step by step.
best of luck .....
GOD BLESS U .. ^_^
