I know what you are going through with the knee pain as I have experienced that crap for years. For myself, a couple of things that helped my pain was (at least at first) lowering the weight and making sure all of my squats were A2G. Stopping just below parallel, as so many suggest, will KILL your knees over time. Trust me go A2G. Second, try some chondroiton or other supplements designed to lubricate joints and repair cartilage.
