Why would this promote "stricter form" than other smith variants? The path is still entirely fixed, nothing the user does will change the way it moves.

The best chest exercises are the flat bench press and incline bench press.

You can also use pullovers and dips.

The reason you're not growing is probably you diet. What does your diet look like?

How about inclines on a 80 degrees angle, most of the work will be front delts and upper chest.I would also do a lot of incline d/bell flyes,cable flyes,plus try pushups with feet on a high bench.

I know some people do not like bodyweight exercises,but they are worth trying when other exercises are not working.

Incline Dumbbell Flyes also works for upper chest but do that in appropriate assistance because sometimes you got injured if using heavy weights and lost the balance....
