Any resources here specifically for us older (near 50) folks?
I find anaerobic recovery time takes forever, though adding whey, maltodextrin and high fluid intake seems to help.
I used to strength train in my 20s and 30s, never bulked, just skinny and fit with a great 6 pack. I knew nothing about diet back then.
I'm not expecting much, just trying to gain a little muscle, lose a little fat and look and feel fitter.
Still in good aerobic shape and interval training to increase threshold.
