How about starting a "Beginners Only" Forum. A forum I go to a lot (not Bodybuilding or Weight Training) has a Beginners forum where newbies can go and feel free to ask any question they have without the "use search" answer they were starting to get.

I get a kick out of going there a couple of times a week and helping people out.

The other forums are then used by the more experienced posters and are a lot more detailed.

Also the experienced posters get a warning if they go into the Beginners forum and say stuff like "Read the Stickies dumbass".

They also started a "Politics Only" forum, even though it has nothing to do with the price of tea in china, to gid rid of people talking about politics in the general area.
