Default getting back into it

hey guys. well its been another less then great football season (3-5, no play-offs). i haven't lost much size or strength (gained 6 BW and lost 15 on bench) so now that i can do my own routine i was looking into retrying ripptoes starting strength, however i don't remember the routine, is this an acceptable form of it?

A
squat:3x5
bench:3x5
pull-ups:2x8
dips:2x8

B
squat:3x5
military press:3x5
rows:3x5
powercleans:5x3
tri extensions: 3x8

and deadlift (3x5) as well on fridays

of course the ABA BAB format on Monday Wednesday and Friday. i was also going to do 15-20 minutes of bike/treadmill afterward. i figured with my good diet i had all summer and this program i could be benching 300 by valentines day (currently around 260) and squatting 450 (currently around 375)

With those strength levels I don't see how you could progress well on SS.

Yeah that would probably suit better. You know better than me what you could do but seems like you're a little bit past "starting" strength.

Of course you could start with it just to get into it with a moderate weight but I wouldn't keep trying to push past plateaus with it. You could then go 5x5 progressed on a weekly basis which would be better..or a dedicated strength routine (i.e. instead of middleground strength/mass like a 5x5 is).

If you act sanctimonious I will just list out your logical fallacies until you get pissed off and spew blasphemous remarks.

Well take a look at _Wolf's_ journal on Maximum Strength. Take a look at Kane's.

I'd recommend something like that over a 5x5 to meet your goals.
