I think the week off will do some good and you will be better for it. The way you are going it is just a matter of time for all of the big 3 to be 300+. Good work keep it up.

Monday

Ok so something crazy happened to me yesterday, i was reading through dave's journal, and through the MMA thread we have going, and I realized I want to get into that as soon as possible ... so what to do? My goal was to get the big 3 into the 300+ range for 5, and I accomplished that last night. I didnt follow the template, I warmed up then I did wieght acclimation sets till i was ready to go, here are the results.

squat A2G 315x5 (#5 was extremely hard, I had to man up after #4)
Flat bench 315x5 (could have done more, but the arm/pec shit started in again)

Then I hit some exess work, bi's for 2 sets of 8, and tris the same. I'm sore as hell today, but it is worth it, both of those are new PR's, and now I can move on to the SE program. Here is the break down of wear I started and were I finished.

Start 17 weeks ago
bench 245x5
squat 215x5
dead 265x5

and ended with those new PR's. I'm fairly happy with the results, It would have been nice to go above an beyond my initial goals, but no biggie. Its a little misleading when you just look at the numbers, I had been close to the PR's prior to this, but because of time off, and injury shit I ended up back at the starting numbers.

I guess that will do it for the strength journal, I'm gonna use the rest of this week to play with the SE stuff, and solidify a workout to follow. For everyone who checked in and gave advice thanks so much, i wouldnt have gotten this done without ya'll.
