Na its not a strength issue, I just want to get a bit deeper with the squat thats all, truth is I probably could have got that extra rep but I wanted the form spot on.

Light Day (yeah Im a bit behind!)

Good day today on squats, feeling nice and tight on them I think all the stretching im doing is helping.Press suffered a bit but Im in new weight territory so I expect it should be quite hard from now on.I missed on only my 3rd set and then just hit 4s from then until I made 25 total reps.Nailed all 5 reps on deadlifts so up we go next week.

Light Day 12/12/07
Squat 2x5 70kg
Press 2x5,4,3,4,4 42.5kg
Deadlift 1x5 130kg

Good day

Performance Day

Had a great day today, hit PRs on sqauts and bench again, chins was an equal PR.Very happy day.

Performance Day 14/12/07
Squat 1x2 112.5kg (PR)
Bench 1x1 90kg (PR)
Chin 1x4 BW+18.75KG

I kind of messed up my setup for bench PR so I only got 1 rep.It was 35 degrees celcius in the shed where I train and all the sweat kind of stuck me to the bench,I wasnt as tight as I would have liked to be,Im confident I can do a double with that weight next week,we will see.

I know you love your deadlifts Riddick

You have no idea how tempted I was on wednesday to just keep throwing on plates and see how much I could pull for a single

yup, ya gotta love those deads!!!

it's kind of funny but i remember thinking i had my technique on deads "down to a tee" but over the last couple of months i have improved them a lot as far as engaging the lower back in unison with the hips, legs and glutes when breaking the bar off the floor.

now if i could just get my bench to be only 16lbs under yours, then i'd really be happy!

keep up the great work mate!
