Update
Thanks guys. It feels good to get back on the competition circuit.
And with that comes the injuries. I've been going to my competition practices but not lifting because of a shoulder injury I got at the competition. Last night was our second competition tryouts and I have to say out of the 5 people that tried out, the only girl was the toughest one. She was just crazy and just about out grappled the other 4 when we had to spar them. One guy didn't make it because he was just going through the motions and another was so close to not making it, and he competes all the time. During one of the sparring sessions one of the new guys, he would be second to in line for the most heart that night, tried a couple wrestling snap downs and that is when I my back started to kill me. After that my back was pretty jacked up. It took me a couple of minutes to get out of bed this morning. My woman said she would give me a massage so I'm happy with that.
Trying to find a balance between training hard and working out with injuries is difficult sometimes. Hopefully I can workout this Saturday or something. We'll see.

Another update.
My back and shoulder are doing better and I'm going to test out lifting tomorrow. Training is going very well and I was able to do a Muay Thai class right before my Competition Team training. I was very tired but no injuries came back or were aggravated. Hopefully I can start lifting heavy again and balance everything out.
