I am looking to gain mass, what do you mean maybe do 3x8 on the squats? That would make sense i guess a total of 24 reps instead of 40 is a huge difference.

Thanks for that Alpha, I see you only do one compound at a time, but rotate it every 5 days instead of a full 7, thats makes sense as I alluded to in my post a full 7 days between leg or chest...
