you are most welcome sir

start a journal here ASAP and i will be glad to help u out. i know a lot of ppl on this board who have tons of experience when it comes to 5x5 programs:
Eric3237
Kane
0311
Schorcher
TALO
etc

BUT, when it comes to Mark Rippetoe's programs, i am gonna put it bluntly, Eric and i have the best experience. sorry, but its true

seriosuly, start a journal, ill be more than happy to join and help with my limited knwoledge (quote Eric ) and im sure u will progress very well indeed!

cheers!

I'll be happy to start a journal.. just a small ques.. is there somewhere on here to do this? I'll give it a go... it would be good to have u guys help out, sounds good.

I havent yet joined any other BB forum, but this is a good place and plenty of help already.. and just my 1st day here.

The thing with the journal.. I'll be training 100% natural so I wont be looking like the hulk anytime soon like I have seen some of the guys pics on here... there are some BIG DUDE'S!

Cheers.

start a journal by creating a thread here: http://www.bodybuilding.net/personal-journals/

u mentioned joining other bb forums. well, since ur starting out ehre u should find somoen to take u under their wing. thats the first priority. next, its fine to join a 100 sites if u want, but make sure u dont change ur goals or whatever u doing because ur getting influenced by 10 ppl. if ur the type of person who will stick to 1 thing and believe in it 100% then joining many forums may not be such a bad idea.

u said ur natural. so are we all. atleast most of us. i dont know about everyone, but 99% of all the journals in the journal section are of natty lifters. go read them. here, ill list out a few which will help u out:
Random Lifting of a Lineman: Click Here
Phil's journal: Click Here
FlyUSMC's Journal: Click Here
Phobia's Starting Stength: Click HEre

of course u can and should read up on my journal

dont worry about becoming a hunk and stuff. no one here is there to intimidate u and while i have developed the attitude to joke around, most people here are serious (99% of the time - dont let kane fool u ) and im sure ppl will be more than ready to help u out.

btw: im 18 years old......just so u dont feel uncomfortable, im the smallest and youngest member in this joint

EDIT: i am small because in 5'7 tall. dont underestimate my strnegth ;) check my journal buddy. and start urs soon sir!

best of luck

Sentinel

Since you've been out of the game for a while, you will see some very quick improvements using a 5x5. Slow and steady and you'll be amazed at how quickly muscle memory kicks in.

As for supps, I would begin with simple pre and post workout nutrition which for many of us is whey, dextrose, and maltodextrine.

check out the how to bulk sticky for more info.

YAY!!! I've been recognized...but not enough for you to know how to spell it :-/

I'm actually doing the 5x5 right now. I'm in week 3 of the loading. Going good so far. Before this i was doing Doggcrapp. It was alright, but I wasnt making the progress like i am now, and i was probably eating better then than i do now. I also realized i would rather have strength now, and size will follow.
