Hmm..
Ok, maybe I'll do the running on alternate days..
I get shaky sometimes when doing normal workouts (running, then lifting)..
Like I say, it's the lifting weights that really takes it out of me..

You could be getting shaky due to not enough cals. How long are you workouts and do you eat right before?
I know when I get really hungry my blood sugar drops and I get shaky as hell.

I'm almost positive it is.. Low blood sugar..
I don't eat anything before my work-out..
I like to eat every 4 hours or so, so I eat, then after about 3 hours I go workout for an hour (25 min of running, 35 min of lifting), then eat right after..
Looks like I have alot to learn..

If you're lifting heavy you MUST eat something before. If you were lifting then running that would be like ~1.5hours of intense calorie burning when you've already gone for 3 hours without food. Not good. When you do that, you're body is basically eating itself (likely mostly muscle).

Yup, probably been sabotaging myself these last few YEARS! :(
I got into this from a diet perspective..
Following the 40-30-30 diet doctrine of only eating so many calories a day, and having each meal balanced to avoid insulin spikes..
And working out to stimulate metabolism and gain lean muscle mass..
Anyhoo, will definitely be doing more reading, and will see about fitness/nutrition consultation..

You will probably not gain much lean muscle mass if your goal is fatloss by calorie deficit.

Well, like I say, I've been following (well, cheating quite a bit, but when I AM following it closely) this 40-30-30 diet, which gives me about 2200 calories a day..
Like I say, I've been sabotaging myself, it looks like..
I've taken my body fat percentage down a bit, but haven't added much muscle mass..

To gain muscle mass you must be in a calorie surplus. For you is probably in the 3000cals range. There is a calculator for your base caloric intake in the how to bulk sticky I think.
