Default Training Possibility

I was thinking about what some of the other site members were telling me maybe do an upper/lower split, or full body days possibly because I like doing my 4 day split, and don't want to overtrain. Well I was looking at my weight (190) and my strength, and I really think I need to get stronger before I think about doing anything else, and if I go about it correctly I shouldn't put on too much body fat. Heck the extra muscle will help me burn off body fat, so who knwos it may turn out good, but I really would like input before I go about doing anything. From what i research, compound lifts are where it's at. smaller auxillary muscles (bi's tri's, etc...) are important like everything else, but are also stressed quite a bit while doing these other important compound lifts. I was thinking of doing a four day split as follows:

Sun or Mon and Wed or Thurs( not sure which I will do yet):

Legs: Squat
Leg Press
Calves
Back: Deads
Bent over row
Biceps: Barbell Curls

Abs

Mon or Tues and Thurs or Fri (same as above)

Chest: Bench
Incline Bench
Flies
Shoulders: Overhead press
upright Rows
Triceps:Close grip bench

Abs

I was thinking about following a 5x5 rep scheme for the compound lifts and then for the auxilaries doing somthing with higher volume somewhere between 8-15 repetitions.

I could be completely off in my thinking on this routine, so any criticism or encouragement would be appreciated greatly, thanks guys!
