Anavar / Creatine cycle
Just started this friday, thought id log it an put it out there for others, this is all im taking, no test. Im taking milk thistle and cranberry extract throughout. I will be taking the anavar for several weeks, creatine will be done in 2 parts, i will have a week off half way through (creatine does not seem to do much for me after 3-4 straight weeks) and am using loading phases (20g loading days, 10-12g otherwise). Im starting the anavar at 50mg as it's first time using, will up dosage as and when. I have done a few cycles of superdrol previously.
Goals - training for a strongman contest, looking for strength and endurance gains for the most part, fat loss and muscle gain as well.

May 12th 2010
frame deadlift upto 320kg x 1, two fails at 360kg , 240kg x 8
bent over dumbbell laterals 10kg 4 x 8-12
front squat 60,100kg x 8-10
karlsen squat upto 280kg (wraps on this) x 1, 140kg x 10
seated squat machine upto 200kg x 8-10
lying leg curl upto 9 plates x 15 or so
decline crunches 10kg behind neck x 12
ab machine stack x 20
dumbbell side bends 50kg x 8-10 each side
Supposed to do cardio at the end of each workout but didnt get time due to work today - the frame deadlift (training for van deadlift) felt terrible, partly due to wrong footwear an slight pull of old upper back injury, but i 'think' everything else felt pretty strong >my waist was 33 7/8" yesterday morning, so down a little even though i feel like ive gained fat, and weight was 234lb. Veins are sticking out more than usual, got one on left shoulder that wasn't there before an vein in my right arm is popping out even when im not training biceps.
Because of weight gain being only 1lb as of yesterday i will keep 20g creatine loading going till friday, am keeping var at 50mg for 14 days (8 more) then plan to up it to 60.

all my skin has got really dry, knuckles bleeding etc so ive stoped the loading and am just doing 10g a day for now. I may keep it at that throughout but everytime ive done creatine it seems to have no effect after about 4 weeks of straight use. I know some take it all year round.

May 14th 2010
didnt have much of any choice but to do anther session with no events or cardio - will have to do a good bit of both next week
seated overhead reverse grip bar,40kg,50kg x 10, 60kg x 4 (heh), 50kg x 9
incline reverse grip 40kg 3 x reps (lift off hard on own but weak as hell on this)
bench press reverse grip 60kg x 6, 80kg x 10,10,9
z lockouts (from forehead) 60kg x 6
close grip bench 60,80kg x 8
10kg dumbbell laterals x 10 superset with cable cross over x 10 for 3 sets
machine curl straight bar x 8-12 superset with reverse grip/regular push downs x 6/6 for 2 sets
standing calf raises 2 sets 12 reps, seated 2 sets 12 reps
reverse grip thumb over barbell curls 30kg x 12, plate wrist curl 20kg x 15
trying out the reverse grip, ive read it's helped some peoples regular grip pressing a lot - pretty hard on the wrists, hard to say because of change in grip i think im either stronger or just better endurance from the creatine (always been a very weak presser)
p.s pic from today, 1 week in

Try doing some more research on creatine. Look at the side effects and efficable dosing protocols. I can tell by what you're doing that you don't have a thorough grasp of how creatine works, the side effects, or how much is an effective dose. I'm not trying to call you out...it would be for your benefit.

Theres no evidence either way. I can only go off facts that i know are facts. I dont know how things will go with var because of how they work together, but i do know that for me creatine on it's own is best loaded and cycled, has to be taken with fast carbs, and also that 10-12g per day works better than 5g or 15g.
