Yes I use protein. Mainly just after I workout. Sometimes before I workout and sometimes if I don't have time to eat ( which doesn't happen often )

I have a 10lb box of protein that has been in my cuboard for over 6 months. That's me using 2 scoops after every workout and sometimes in between.

I agree that it's very important , Eric.

It's just I would rather have a real meal pre workout then just a shake.
