Haven't hit the gym in a while, been busy with finals, another PFT yesterday (20/100/19:58), and things dying (a hard drive, a phone, and an alternator... all within 10 days). Why do they all go at once? Hopefully will get back Monday.

Im doing the same routine and im also making good progress.

I looked back. 7 months ago you were at:
Squats: 155
Bench: 135
Deads: 235

A total of 195 lbs increase. Sometimes looking backward makes you feel good and keeps you motivated. Keep it up.

hey guys i have also been doing the starting strength program for 4 weeks now and i just wondered from your experience following the program when you really started to notice an increase in muscle mass? I have noticed so small gains but nothing too much, just wondered sometimes its nice to know what others have got out of a routine?

You notice the gains when you start eating
Muscle building is a slow process, aside from that the small gains are going to be just that- small gains. Don't worry, they add up. Keep up the good work.

Back in the gym for the first time in ten days. Ouch. Reset the deads and have moved to a maintenance 3x3 for squats, dropped the bench since it's been so long. Overall, a good day

Squats: 3x3 225 keep
Bench: 5x5 165 up 5
DL: 300 up 5
Pulls: push/pull drills. ugh.
Bi/Tri/Abs: done

Pitysister, you'll be happy to know that I just bought tickets for the Gigantour this saturday. In Flames, Children of Bodom, Job For A Cowboy, someone else, and Megadeth headlining. .

Have not, though I've been eager to as they seem like they'd put on a good show. If you've never seen As I Lay Dying in concert they're a phenomenal live band. Nothing will ever top Nugent's stage presence though.. that guy is the man. He'll be in MI for the 4th of July, no way am I missing that. Knowing him, his love of MI coupled with the fact that it's the 4th of July will make for one hell of a show.

Missed wednesday's workout since I was so sore after being out of the gym almost 2 weeks. Today substituted rows in for the deadlift, will be doing that only once a week from now till OCS.

Squats: 3x3 225 keep
Bench: 5x5 170 keep
Rows: 3x5 185 keep
Bi/Tri/Ab/Pulls: done


Alexi didn't seem that small, sure put on a hell of a show though. Minus the 40* and rain, that is
