I just go to my favorite "bodybuilding store" called Wal-Mart and buy the generic multivitamins (usually a generic equivalent of Centrum or something like that).

Yes, I know I could buy more expensive vitamins, but I just don't see the point.

Also Thiamin (B-1) . Thiamin helps with the conversion of nutrients to energy and, in particular, enhances mental function and mood. Grains, wheat-germ, nuts and seeds are high in thiamine.

Here is a list of some of the most common multi vitamins for bodybuilding i would say, in no paticular order:

1. Gaspari Anavite - has carnitine

2. Opti-men from Optimum Nutrition - This one has enzymes and plant extracts and aminos but i do not think the amounts they are in will help it

3. Dymatize Super Multi - A standard good multi vitamin, nothing overkill and cheap. Does what it is supposed to do.

4. Universal Animal Pak - A handfull of pills that you can swallow. Has more than everything you need, and milk thistle. But be prepared that they are pretty strong.

I hope that this can help you to make the thoice

Regards
Peter

Well vitamins and minerals are better than any multivitamin out there. I've furthermore marveled how much components does your body actually soak up from a multivitamin? If any thing, you're attractive much pissing it

Agreed. I take Centrum complete. Even then, I really see multivitamins as somewhat pointless. Id rather get it all through my diet considering all of it is more bioavailable through food anyway. I just have it sitting around so I take it.

A valuable thread of course...
Weight loss surgery patients most commonly experience deficiencies in two classes of vitamins, fat soluble vitamins and some B-vitamins. These vitamins are as follows:

Fat Soluble Vitamins: vitamins A, D, E and K
B-Vitamins: B-1, Thiamine, Folate, B-12

Due to the efficacy of oral vitamin supplementation and vitamin injections, revision weight loss surgery is rarely needed or used to treat conditions of vitamin deficiency. Deficiencies in fat soluble vitamins are most commonly found in Duodenal Switch patients with patients experiencing vitamin-D deficiency most frequently. Malnutrition and protein deficiency is treated by elongation of the common limb, which can also be performed to treat vitamin deficiency.
