Did some heavy-duty cheating this morning..

My boys like to have pancakes, so about once a week I make them and have it with them..

2 BIG whole-wheat buttermilk pancakes with butter and maple syrup, with 3 eggs and a glass of milk..

I'll add it all up and see what kind of damage I've been doing.. LOL

The eggs and milk are fine, good, actually. The pancakes? Meh, we all have our cheat meals here and there. It's said that they're actually good for you, since your body gets used to only healthy foods. The cheat meal resets your metabolism.

I went ahead and ran 3 miles again with my workout..

Post workout shake, 1.5 bananas, 70g of whey protein, 1 cup of milk, tbsp of dark brown sugar (still have to get that dextrose and maltodextrine).

I'm just going to have to say no to the weekly pancakes, it looks like..

You might want to take some of that protein in your PWO shake & add it to your PWO meal. That is a LOT of protein to be taking in at one time. It's nowhere near a good carb/protein ratio.

The article you posted says that you specifically should get 38g of protein in your PWO shake. The most important part is the carbs.
