I fucked about on saturady with my bench form and ended up doing a bit of DE work just to see where I am at with speed.I did some extra tri and lat work too.Just a little extra workout.My tris need work still.Bench is a tough lift to move thats for motherfucking sure.

ME Squat Day

Thought I would free squat today, does anyone else find free squatting weird after doing mostly box squats? I do.Anyways worked up to 145kg and hit it nicely so i went for 152.5kg on the bar and had to dump it.C$&T I have never missed a squat before lucky I got my super duper high tech expensive safety rack (see vids when I post em) :biglaugh:. I did rollouts next for some BW negatives and then some from the knees with weights on my back.Finished with Band GMs.I wanted to do a single leg exercise but was a bit pressed for time. I will make up for it!

Squat 1x1 140k,145kg 152.5kg 2x1 140kg 1x1 145kg
Rollouts (WOD) Negs Standing 2x6
Knees WOD BW 1x10,1x10 BW+2.5kg 1x8 +5kg
2x Blue Band GMs 3x10

So even tho I missed that squat I was happy that I got 5 good singles with a very near Max weight.I have never done that many singles with 140-145kg.

Can't believe I missed that 400lb pull. Wicked stuff !!

Peep the super duper power rack.Those bad boys cost me 10 beans for both at a yard sale Fuck yeah better than a $700+ rack!!!

Their not cheap I would like a full power rack but dont want to spend the £500.
How are the prices with plates in your part of the world at the moment?

ours are steady a $1 a pound. i was almost half tempted to buy a sumo half rack i found at i think nybarbell.com....but i need to find a wife and a house first :)

I aint checked the price TBH but I buy mine from Kmart whenever they have a 25-30% off sale storewide I usually pay $33AU for a 20kg (45lb) plate.

Pity I agree with getting the house first but if you put a wife in said house you will only have to clean it! :)

Thats pretty cheap, over here at the moment a 20k plate is £38 UK£ which in AU$ is $82!
