So I'm 3 weeks away. Still working out and still weighing aprox 230-235. I want to cut down to 220> and this will be my plan.

July 20th - 2-3 gallons of water
July 21st - 2-3 gallons of water
July 22nd - 2-3 gallons of water
July 23rd - 0.5 gallons of water ( 1 liter ) - cut off at 2pm
July 24th - Nothing until after the weigh ins ( time is 9am - 6pm so I can judge it this day )
ASAP start getting my fluids back in and eating every 2hrs
July 25th - LIFT

Currently I am still lifting and drinking 1-1.5 gallons of water. Taking in only 50g - 100g of carbs and keeping this to after my workouts or on NON-workout days it is only fruit.

Protein / Fat and Fiber is still kept normal. ( example of a meal: 1 chicken breast , 1 sirloin steak and 1.5 cups of green and yellow beans )

I will cut my training out on the 17th , but continue to do cardio.

Since I don't need to worry about what I look like I wont be doing a sodium/carb load/deplete - Just keep it to water and the minimal intake of carbs. I have lost 5lbs already in 5 days just by taking in minimal carbs. This will all be gained back on the Friday before the lift and I hope to be sitting somewhere around 235 the day of.

Me too !

So , i've been working crazy hours at work. Thursday night-Friday morning ( 36 hrs straight ) Then Saturday-Sunday ( anther 36hrs )

But today I snuck out and made it to the gym , with about 1hr sleep. I just had to get out and hit some weight.

Didn't have much of a plan but I did want to squat !

Below par squats
45x12
135x10
225x10
315x8
405x8

Leg Extensions 3x12

Chin Ups - 3x12 BW
Close grip pulldowns 3x8
Rows 3x8

10 minutes of cardio.

Felt weak after , no food pre ! I did mix up some Dark Matter and I must say if you've never tried it you should go out and pick some up. THis stuff is a 3:1 ratio of carb : protein ( with some other stuff in there ) It tastes great and the insulin response is amazing.

Nope. I've always been able to find gainer for much cheaper.

I typically use gainer that has a 3:1 or 4:1 ratio of carbs to protein. Same thing, marketed differently.

Have you used an Apex shirt before? I don't know...anything about them. Or bench shirts for that matter. Are you excited about it? I bet so. Are you going to try to use it at the meet?

The guys I train with just picked up a double ply a few months back. I put it on once or twice.

I wont be using it for this meet (prob wont be able to touch anything with it for awhile ) , but I am excited about getting it in. I go back home for a few weeks in Aug , so I will take it and get my bro to try it on.
