Yeah, the heel lift I just suggested as being permissible for the front squats. And even there you don't have to. But not for anything else. You're getting very good mobility and you are very stable so promote that. That is very good for your knees, as you know, in the long run. Now, I'm not saying that little bit of heel lift is such a big deal..I mean olympic lifters typically use shoes with much more lift that those little plates. And it's not like you see with some guys where they are practically squatting on their toes to "hit the quads"..because that IS bad for the knees.

front squats: -155 x 1 x 2 (97%) -150 x 1 x 3 (94%) -100 x 10 rdl's - 110, 3 x 8 hip extensions - 15, 2 x 18....static y 's 2 x 50 sec. db curls - 20, 2 x 10 sorta took wednesday off...pissed off my shoulders last friday doing some ext. rotations...pulling seems to be ok....pushing aggravates them...so...no pressing for awhile....might even take an an anuj break from benching...see how overhead pressing feels. or maybe i'll just do lower body for the rest of my life :) today was good...felt real good. have a good weekend y'all :) |

well a few weeks ago...i only really worked out twice...maybe i'll take next week off. i will miss my front squatting though :(
