DE Squat Day
Dropped back to the orange band today, just couldnt get my groove tho, speed was ok but I wanst feelin it.Did RDLs next and smashed it tho, I did 2 sets with 300 this week and my glutes are way more active in the lift now so thats great.Finished with weighted rollouts or WOD.This was friday its now monday and my abs still hurt!. DE Bench Day
Still sore everywhere, probs shouldnt have trained but you know me I did.Had an ok workout, I've been doing shitloads of mobility work of late with a tonne of myofascial release work too.Its really helping alot.Bench was kinda slow tho, dropped a little weight to compensate.Did a couple band presses next and then some chins.These were great, I have added SHITLOADS of size to my lats and upper back since I started training it every workout for a couple sets, I guess they like high frequency low volume? DE Bench Day 14/3/09 Bench 8x3 55kg CG Orange Band Floor Press 3x3 65kg 70kg Chins 4x5 BW+5kg (30 secs rest between sets) |

ME Squat Day (DELOAD)
Tested my sumo (Hoppers hybrid Pulls) today.Managed to get 405 this time.Thats cool.Did 1 set of Bulgarian split squats after and 1 set of reverse crunches. ME Squat Day 17/3/09 Sumo Deadlift 1x1 160kg 175kg (PR) 1xM 180kg Bulg Split Squat 1x6 20kg Rev Crunch 1x10 BW+10kg I couldve done way more on the Bulgarians, they were feeling great, lots of glutes in there.But its a deload week so I restrained. |
