The one's I have I can just slip on and they don't give enough suport. The one shirt I do have I always think it's too small , but it's starting to losen up - Can't get it on by myself for the life of me and when my training partner is there it's a workout on it's own getting that thing on ,LOL ! But - if you don't have anyone then I guess you gotta send it back , that sucks ! |

You will want to start doing ( not telling you to ) Lot's of GM's so your strong enough to handle the forward motion. Once you get heavier the GM training will kick in and your lower back will be able to handle to weight and keep you upright. Yes - The war wounds are normal , learn to love them !! If you don't get any it's too big. |

ME Bench Day
Well you guys prob wont believe this but I hit a bench PR last night haha no shirt either! I think I am finally getting the bar path down a bit better.I still dont do a good job of staying tight, but at least the bar path is ok, that has been my biggest obstacle in benching.Hit 105kg on the bar, a weight that has stapled me so many times I have lost count.Man it was good to get past that.My plan was to do doubles but when my supposed last set flew up easy I knew I had to keep going.Did my usual access work after, felt awesome all workout coulda done 100 more sets.Wes routine and diet have definately added alot of muscle to my frame too.I am loving it. ME Bench Day 13/5/09 Bench 2s Up to 95kg 1x1 100kg, 105kg (PR) Pullups x Lots again!! Supp work |
Vid I know I dont stay tight and these dont look great, and dammit I thought I fixed the head moving thing too,I really didnt know that I was still moving my head off the bench, but at least my bar path is better.

Definitely try to get your feet tucked back a little more. You have zero leg drive and not great leverage because of this. |
I hear what your saying , Pity. But I've still seen guys lift almost 600lbs and lifting there head like that. So I think you should be able to still stay tight . Not saying it's right , but ...
One thing I try to do is visulize ripping the bar apart with my hands ( pulling them apart ) I find that and staying up on my traps helps. An issue I have is using the legs to my advantage and getting a good arch. Man , so much little things to do - that all add up to one great lift ! Still an amazing PR ,Hops. |
